pedro's space adventure 2 is just a reskinned robot wants fishy, using the old boyslife website's mascot. i don't believe there are any noticeable changes between the versions, so i was wondering if a pedro run would be accepted. i grew up playing this reskin, and it just doesn't feel the same without that burro

I personally don't have an issue with someone running using this version, but I reposted the question in the Robot Wants Discord.

(I'm not a leaderboard mod, but I've been a member of the community for several years and held the RWP WR for a little while.)

I have no issues with it as all I can find says it is truly a reskin (I don't see why Hamumu would have made any programming changes). I will accept it and put a note in for the run. Worst case we determine there is some significant difference and we can make an alternate category under the Robot Wants umbrella.

i actually haven't started a speedrun yet (i just asked out of curiosity) but i watched the world records to see what the ideal strategy was and noticed that, for some odd reason, the first computron is moved between versions. this computron seemed pretty important early on, so the runs wouldn't be the same.

Good point - that is a strange adjustment but definitely would result in different efforts. I'd still love to watch any Pedro's speedruns you do!
