I'm afraid this isn't a new skip, and has been known about for ages. But it does make me wonder what the other skip you know about for this puzzle is?

This was one of the first skips we found, here's me doing it not even a month after the game's release and before I really knew how to do it consistently

I think this would be classified as a glitch though. I can talk it over with other runners if you disagree as my say isn't exactly the final say

Oh ok. I just didn't see this on the glithless run. Considering no one has done this. The reason why I said it was glitchless is because its almost similar to skipping enemies to start a cutscene and doesn't require major skips during the run. I don't think one skip through the entire game would consider any% cause again it's one skip during a glitchless run. The super jump during the second water puzzle skip is required even on a glitchless run because it's almost part of the game and RNG.
