So I just saw a yt video showing a way to see clearer in the dark rooms and I was wondering are you allowed to do that or not (probably no but I just wanna make sure)

If you are referring to roshade or something like that it is not allowed in runs. Rules state no third party applications are allowed

@admirooo I'm sure they are talking about changing screen gamma.

guys screen gamma doesnt make it more viewable, it makes your screen more saturated. it changes your monitor, which means it cant affect individual games and MORE IMPORTANTLY, certain aspects of games (such as darkness)

how do u do it i wanna see in dark rooms so it auto lowers my grafics but idk how to do it speedruners do it but google has no advice

Before entering a room, the darkness hasn't yet caught you, so you either memorize where the door will be or you just keep the graphics settings low.
