The Guide

This is a writeup of my route for Any%. It doesn't go into amazing detail, and that's because I really didn't make any notes when I came back. It's just an outline of what I did, and I'll get around to improving it... at some point.

##START OF RUN, Day 1 Split

• Mash A to progress dialogue quickly, seconds can be lost here. Though, getting very good at timing each box is also just as effective and better on your hands.

• I remove characters of of Raguna's name, though it probably doesn't actually save time over the short time it takes to do so. I just do it out of principle at this point.

• Mist should still have her voice clip playing while she's already leaving.

• Try to hit the Orc dead on with your hoe, it seems more likely to knock it down that way. Charge your hoe, and as soon as it's about to fully stand up, let go of the attack and you can hit it on the lingering hitbox.

• Try to talk to Mist as soon as the music ends, but it's better to be late on this than too fast.

• Mash dialogue, you want to do First option and then fourth option and first option.

• Her reaction to the farm name is entirely random, with one being particularly slower than the others.

• Collect 22 Branches by going in an arc across the top part of the field, ending where the bamboo shoot is. Get the bamboo shoot and a red grass. Now start chewing dried grass to lower your HP. When you're at 5 HP, pick up one dried grass for the road.

• Learn where exact number of pixels is for 5 HP, and it'll save you time.

• Quickly open your menu, grab the watering can, hit Y twice and right 3. Hit start to leave. This preps for CG later.

• Head to the clinic, ram your head into the door until it opens at 9. Sell everything but the dried grass.

• Buy table from Ivan.

• CG. Only one A input is required.

• Eat dried grass.

##Day 2

• Leave Clinic, re-enter clinic, sell sashimi and buy 9 Antidote and 5-7 Parlyz Cures.
• Go to library and pick up Teleport from the bookshelf section furthest to the northeast.
• Go to Leo's, buy Claymore and Battle Axe.
• Equip Teleport and use it.
• As soon as it's over, Invuln glitch with your house.
• Equip Battle Axe
• Zone Pass into Greed

##Greed

• Only use charge attacks here and hope for good RNG.
• Try to line up monsters to go down with the machines for more EXP.
• Don't waste time fiddling with them though, if you destroy the machine and you know they're not one or two hits from going down, just leave. You can afford to be down a level, it doesn't save that much time.
• Skip the Little Mage's maching to level off the Hobgoblin archer machine. Do not try and fight the mage, it's never worth it.
• You can always get two kills off the scorpion machine, but 3 or even 4 is possible.
• You can take out one of the small dragons easily alongside the machine.
• Lure the fairy to the lower left before trying to break the machine.

##Grimoire:

• Pretty much how the AI decides to go decides how this run goes.
• As soon as you can, hit it once with the axe, and now swap to the Claymore. Just use the normal attack combo. Provided you get a good AI pattern with less flyaways, it will do more damage over time.
• Heal once in between flyaways, twice if you really need it.
• Try to always stay to the north of Grimoire when you're near the top of the screen. This will despawn the laggy firebreath.

##Ending Bit:

• Run to Godwin, talk to Godwin, warp to your house, run to the end. This should always take about 1:30 or so.
• Huzzah?
• I guess make sure you're not overworking your hands. Running ain't easy on 'em.
