To do this glitch, you will need to jump forward one time, placing yourself close to the ledge and immediately jump forwards again as far as you can towards the ledge you want to grab on. Then, as soon as you are about to grab the ledge, attack. This will overide the grab and now allow you to freely walk around on what seems to be thin air. Do not spam attack after the second jump, you have to attack at the right time, and make sure you are very light with your controls on the first jump if you do not have a lot of room or the game will think you want to go all the way off the ledge before the second jump. It is best to give yourself as much room as possible.

This is just a different way of doing the glitch. It's the same, but just not following the clouds but instead following a door. Is the cloud better? yeah, this is just Alternative to it if you can't do it.  This may or may not help.

Episode 7 Airwalk Glitch Route Guide

This is to help document at least one way to almost always guarantee a succesful and fast airwalk in episode 7. I am sure there might be better ways or someone might be able to explain better, but this is how I managed to make it work for me and added some editing to help show visual cues.

Installing Autosplitter, Timer & Load Remover

If you downloaded the Cutscene Skip tool, the file is in the Autosplitter folder.

Please choose this version in LiveSplit instead of the old version.

**Install:**

Open LiveSplit

Right click the timer

Click Edit Layout

Click the + button in the top left

Choose Control -> Scriptable Auto Splitter

On the Scriptable Auto Splitter tab, click Browse and choose the .asl file

A list of options and checkboxes should appear now. These deterine the behavior of the autosplitter and loadremover

It's easier to click the "Check All" button on the bottom now. Uncheck any options you don't want to use. For example, for NG+ Any%, you would uncheck NG Any%, 100%, Glitchless, Gauntlet, Camera Splits and All Checkpoints.

You don't have to uncheck all the options, for example, unchecking only "All Checkpoints" will disable all the checkpoints that are part of the "All Checkpoints" list

Check "Pause timer during cutscenes" if you plan on using the new Cutscene Skip program during a Cutsceneless or Gauntlet run

On top, check "Start" for the program to start the timer automatically after selecting an episode and loading into it, check "Split" to enable autosplitting

Installing the Cutscene Skip tool & General Info

If you have issues downloading the file, have a look at the Additional Info section below.

**Install:**

Delete every file in your \Steam\steamapps\common\Remember Me\ExampleGame\Movies folder, with two exceptions:

Don't delete BIK_E01_1_NilinFlashback.bik (crashes the game if you delete)

and

BIK_E08_H3O_End.bik (cutscene that plays once the run is over)

(If you ever want to restore the cutscenes, just verify your game files in Steam (in Steam, right click on game's name -> Properties -> Verify integrity of game files))

1. Close the game if it is running.
2. Unzip the Cutscene Skip .zip file and open CutsceneSkip.exe
3. Choose your preferred, different hotkeys for both FastForward and Skip.
4. Choose 20 for Playrate (any other value is untested).
5. Then click on the button labeled "Update Config?".
6. Go to \Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\RememberMeGame\Config and right click ExampleInput.ini -> Properties and check the checkbox on the bottom that says Read-only.
7. Close the cutscene skip program, open the game and open the cutscene skip program again within the main menu.

If you updated the config while the game was running, close the game and restart the game, since the game only rereads the config file once after starting the game.

Take notice of the small light in the bottom section of the program. If it's red, the program is not ready and won't work, if it stays red in the main menu and you already chose your hotkeys, playrate and clicked Update config, close and restart the game. If it's green, the program found its requirements and is expected to work.

IMPORTANT: Opening the program and timer/autosplitter in the main menu is almost always recommended. Rarely there might be a bug if you open the program and Livesplit before running the game which messes with the program & autosplitter.

The color indicator will always tell you if the program is ready in the main menu.

**Optional:** Click the settings button to enable additional options:

Peformance Mode - Disable cutscene speedups for a few problematic cutscenes (recommended for budget PCs)

Lag Cushion - Stop cutscene speedups earlier (in milliseconds)

Hide console window - Close the console window

Skip Calls - Speed up all calls (!Do not enable this for submitted runs!)

Click apply if you're happy with your optional setting selection. The program will remember your selection for the next times you use it.

**Altered Gameplay info:**

Every original gameplay interaction has been preserved unless it wasn't possible to do so.

In Episode 1, after the first cutscene and fighting against Leapers for the first time, you're instructed to dodge over one of them. After dodging, reload to avoid waiting for 10 seconds or so.

In Episode 1, after a fight with lots of Leapers on low health, you move a cart. The ledge you have to jump to after the cart moves is disabled. You have to either jump the gap from the very edge to make the jump or reload the checkpoint to enable the ledge again.

In Episode 4, after observing Vaughn entering the guard's locker room, normally Nilin will be moved further towards the locker room when the cutscene ends. This isn't the case anymore.

Sometimes the expected timing of environmental hazards can be different (for example, the signs that are flipping in Episode 2 can be in a different initial position)

**Additional info:**

The program might trigger your antivirus or Windows Firewall because it presses hotkeys on your keyboard for you. For Windows Firewall, you can go to Manage settings -> Turn off real time protection -> then download file -> turn on real time protection. Afterwards you can go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection. Under Virus & Threat Protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions > Add an exclusion, and then select the Cutscene Skip.exe

If your antivirus blocks it, you can mark the file as trusted somewhere in the antivirus program itself.

The source code is available for you to build the project yourself or read its code to check for any malicious intent.

Future discovered skips have to be manually added to the program, but only if the skip ends with a cutscene and you're still on a different checkpoint in which that cutscene doesn't naturally play (for example the big episode 7 airwalk to the end of the episode ends with a cutscene and gets no checkpoint inbetween, so it had to be manually added in the code.

It's possible to add these skips around line 3000 within the program's code (Form1.cs) in the Dictionary called "routes")

Skip movie cutscenes (old cutscene skip)

To skip movie cutscenes in the game, delete every file in your \Steam\steamapps\common\Remember Me\ExampleGame\Movies folder, with two exceptions:

Don't delete

and

This won't skip all, but a good chunk of cutscenes in the game.
