Event bonuses are one time only, and as such won't be legal for runs! This halts my runs for a few days, but will keep things fair for future runners.

yeah it sucks that you cant turn off events or something like that. also i think we should maybe have another platform on which we can talk so we dont have to make a thread here whenever we want to change something. any suggestions? maybe discord (i havent used it before tho)?

I haven't used Discord either. Talking via YouTube comments is awkward as well. But, these forums were made for just this.

Since we can't turn off Event bonuses, is there any way to include, say, "Thanksgiving" since it's a guarantee (if you play during those 6 days) to get that bonus? Or the repeated Pumpkin smashes during Halloween, which I don't think you can skip outside of being offline for the entire Halloween duration?

It is, to my understanding, pretty much every other event would require clicking on the inevitable "resource" popping up on screen, and....since I don't exactly see anyone routing out anything more than the R1 run (outside of myself currently, possibly looking for an All Trophies/Artifacts run), mebbe we can simply remove this restriction for R1+ runs? I mean...if you're crazy enough to route in "when you play the game during the year" to maximize your run, I say let 'em have it.
