Hello everyone

It has been brought to our attention that Cero D is becoming a really big thorn in our sides. Especially for PC runners. Some can no longer boot up the version. Because of this we will be looking into altering the times of the leaderboard. Right now the priority is PC. Since PC is in dire need of this change today. 30 seconds will be added to Cero D runs. Doing this will allow Steam and Cero D runs to be fair and to be played without either having an advantage and everyone having accessibility.

Also the leaderboard will be changed in the way it displays time. The board will begin to display TWO forms of timing methods. Showing "Time" being the main ranking method.. this will have the altered added time from Cero D/Z. This is the main timing method being used to determine your rank on the board.

Another timing method will be "IGT" this will also be displayed. This is the time that's shown at the end of the Stats screen This will be for Cero D/Z runner submissions and will show the pure unaltered time for you run. helping to preserve that time for the runner and continue to have it shown. It will not determine rank.

Q: Why add time to Cero and not Steam?

A: Quick answer. For the future of the boards. More detailed answer It's Cero D that's becoming more and more difficult to obtain. So one day there may be a time where Cero D will no longer be submitted anymore. It may one day be 100% impossible to run and be a thing of the past (That's the dream \o/) Which means if Cero D was the only version we were retiming (not counting Z) Then a day will come were we wont need to add time to any runs that get submitted in the future. Making all this potentially temporally and one day unneeded.

As of right now all of this is for the MAIN GAME only and its categories. Cero changes will be done to PC as the priority first. Console will come at a later time. Mods will handle the time changes starting with top runs first working our way down. I imagine this wont take long since majority of Cero D runs are on the first 3 pages at most. the further down we go the less will see.

Oh and cant forget!! Pausing the game: "non- tactical Pausing is allowed for an allowance of 3 mins. You may not pause during cutscenes".

Hello! Everyone!! some updates to the Re7 Board i would like to bring to everyone's attention. I have updated the submissions guidelines doc. One important change. I'm sure you are have heard unfortunately Twitch has implemented a limit on storage for highlights. Anyone who has more than 100 hours of Highlights saved on Twitch, will have Videos automatically removed to maintain storage. Because of this Twitch is no longer a reliable source for submissions.

In order to maintain legitimacy of the boards and keep runs preserved we will no longer be accepting Twitch submissions as of today. If one is submitted we will contact you asking for a alternative source.. if one is provided we will do all the work in replacing that link. If no contact has happened we will unfortunately end up rejecting the run. ANY Twitch videos already verified and on the board prior to today will be SAFE (even if there is no longer a video) Unless it is a Top 3 time. We will be contacting all Top 3 runners for all categories. Top 3 runners we are giving a good 4 months (July) to take the time to make these changes. I understand it takes a lot of time to alter what I assume multiple runs and videos. Every run is important no matter the rank! This is to help preserve your time and hard work you do. No one wants to go and look at there time and see there video is magically gone. This is also to help maintain legitimacy, Mods are only human and we cant always catch everything.. a lot of times if foul play has happened its actually caught by the community... but it cant be caught if a video is no longer there.

Hello Runners! In a few months Twitch will be removing Highlight VODs from your account automatically if you reach 100 Hours in total for VODs. Leaderboards require Video proof so I encourage everyone who has a Twitch verified run to Export it to a more permanent source and update your runs. You can do this on your end by going to the verified run, hitting the 3 dots on the upper right.. then hit Edit. Update the link and you will be good to go! NOTE* your run will need re verification. it will make things easier on us moderators if you let us know by either typing a note in the description or sending a DM. Thank you!

Remember if your run does not have video proof even after its verified it always pose a risk of rejection!!!

• Dead Body Skip (Guest House)
• Early FPS Phone Call Trigger (If happens continue to open door as if it didn't)
• ANY form of Out of Bounds
• Lantern Skip
• Auto Save Retries (Retries will still be allowed just non Strategic Autosave retries)
• Early Zoe Trigger (Running to storage box then back up to Zoe)
• Alan 1 and 2 Skip
• Sullivan Skip
• Breaking Marge AI during Marge 2 fight (getting her trapped in a corner)
• Trailer Phone Skip

And yes there is a No Guest House version. !!!Special note with NGH!!!: Wall Skip will now be allowed in NGH saves!! Not just for Glitchless but for ALL categories!!

Hello everyone I have some exciting new to share with you all!! First off voting for the new category.. you all have made it clear (by half the votes) we want Glitchless. That is definitely a go go. However I have always planned on adding in the runner up for an additional category, but I did not expect Flamethrower and Chainsaw to tie in the vote poll haha! So after brainstorming and taking a look at the CE board. I thought...."should I add in the 3... but if I add in the 3, I may as well add all 4 no? You know what ADD EM ALL!" That's right after looking at the tallies and talking with the RE7 Mod team we are adding ALL 4 categories (Glitchless, Chainsaw only, Flamethrower only, and Handgun only) to the CE board! Yaay!

Rules for the new categories are TBD (were not there yet) but I promise you to not worry. I will always update you on the info before anything is posted.

Additionally! No Guest House will be moving from a category to a shiny new variable on ALL boards main game and CE!! With the exception of 100% since the Guest House is required to be played to obtain everything. Adding soo many new categories and new ways to play RE7! The most Additions RE7 has ever seen.

One additional note I want to bring up, after thinking about how Flamethrower would work and taking a good look at Clown's run of flamethrower only. There is a lot more research and thinking that needs to be done with that category. So we are putting a pin in adding Flamethrower to the CE board till more planning is done. You can help by researching with me and giving me your best attempt in the "New Category" server.

This is going to take time to organize and update. So please be patient with us mods as we make the changes. We will be starting with moving NGH first so stay tuned for that change.
