So as everyone knows we recently got the 1.84.1 update reworking 40 towers in total completely changing the meta making some runs impossible to beat or have an unfair disadvantage. For example the rework made easy mode 20 waves instead of the 25 waves it was previously which gave pre-1.84.1 easy mode runs a huge disadvantage. There's also some runs which are as of currently unbeatable like that one 25 minute solo hardcore Four Seasons run. So most pre-1.84.1 runs would have a huge disadvantage or would be simply unbeatable. There was tons of backlash from the TDS and TDSS community on this update. In the TDSS community the backlash was mainly after the decision to orphan every run posted pre-1.84.1 . Loads of people felt like they wasted their time or just didn't like not being on the leaderboard anymore. For the TDS community however the backlash was mainly from older players hating that the entire meta had changed overnight. Probably due to nostalgia or other causes. On the TDSS side we can all agree that orphaning all runs wasn't the best decision. Tho you can't blame normal mods. You see, the modding system in TDSS works a little differently from what I know. You have the normal mods which verify runs and do other stuff but you also have the super mods. The super mods are the ones making the final decision on stuff like orphaning all runs. Tho I do feel like it could have been a little different like making a pre 1.84.1 category and a post-1.84.1 category. Tho the problem is is that loads of new people wouldn't get what that mean and would get confused. With everything aside thank you for reading this :3.

i think it makes perfect sense why they did it cause most of the towers got changed
