im looking at these high scores and dont get how to even come close.

the songs end after about 2 minutes and i get 3 stars. i cant find a way to prevent the level from ending and can only get about 200 points before the song ends.

ive seen some videos and the score is red and the map never ends. how is that possible?

the way the game works with every level: the 1º time you only can get to finish the 1º cycle of 3 stars, the 2º time you beat it you can go farther it just reset at 3 stars the 1º time you go

I had this issue briefly when transitioning to a tablet, it may be because the lowest levels of the game only allow songs to work as tutorials - you may either have to play from the selection or play more songs but it's just a suggestion.

After a certain level I think songs don't reset at 3 stars as @KilleDragon mentioned

Ok, so yeah. The first 3-4 levels that you do occur this way, in that the song ends at 3 stars. However once you play through these first few levels, the game will work properly. I think @RaggedDan is right as in they act as a tutorial. However after your first few runs, it will work fine. :) Once the game stops stopping you at three stars, you can go back and redo the first few stages, allowing you to get the score you deserve.
