I wanted to give all you lovely runners a quick PSA on what platforms we will be accepting runs from now on. Until now, our requirements have been fairly lax, with the only thing that the video needs to be hosted on a site where it does not get removed after a period of time. However, for the safety of our verifiers, as well as to make their jobs a little easier when we inevitably get a large influx of runs when Chapter 6 releases, we will be restricting the allowed video hosting sites to just YouTube and Twitch.
What this means is that runs submitted after today (the 10th of August, 2026) that are hosted on any platform that requires us to download the video with be rejected. Video hosting sites that will no longer be allowed include the following (FYI, this list is not exhaustive):
- Google Drive
- iCloud
- TikTok
- BiliBili
Any runs on these sites currently in the queue will still be verified, but I wanted to keep you all updated.

If you didn't know, two days ago Twitch announced that Highlights will now have a 100 hour storage limit meaning that you can only have a total of 100 hours of highlights on your Twitch Channel.
The change doesn't come to effect until April 19th, but today we will be implementing some changes to how we deal with Twitch runs:
- We highly discourage submitting new runs as Twitch Highlights and recommend uploading them onto Youtube first before submitting.
- Runs that are still in queue are encouraged to be changed from a Twitch Highlight to a Youtube video.
- Runs that were already verified do not need to change anything.
How to change the video link in your submitted run:
- Go to your run's page.
- Press the three dots above the video screen and click the edit button.
- Change the link in the video bar and press update.

As you may have noticed there were some changes recently.
Chapter 3 released on consoles a few days ago, and so our mod team was working hard to remodel the leaderboard for console runs.
We are proud to announce that we now have a Console category for both Full Game and Individual Level runs!!
We are also currently working on implementing Category Extensions for Chapter 3!
