How to constantly jump in sky hop.

In sky hop if you're trying to get a good position in any leaderboard then you have to reduce the time between your jump. But if you just click after pou land on a platform that will increase your time. So, you have to keep touching the screen left or right according to the next platform. Don't lift up your finger for every platform.

How to Get "Energy" in the Web Version

If you try to play the web version's mini-games, it will tell you your Pou is too tired to play them. 

To get energy, you need to both: 

- Feed Pou whatever you feel like it in the Kitchen to fill up your Hunger meter.
- Clean Pou (soap, shower, towel and toothbrush, in that order) in the Bathroom to fill up the Health meter.

Once both those meters are filled, you should be able to play the mini-games until they get to low values again (do the whole process again when that happens).

How to speedrun Beach Volley hard mode?

# **Hello everyone!**

I’d like to summarize everything that is known about Pou Beach Volley hard speedrun and give you some advice on how to score in the most effective way, using all the knowledge I have. In my opinion, such a guide for the easy and medium levels is unnecessary since it’s only a matter of fast and precise scoring from the serve. However, hard mode seems to offer much more space for improvement.

# **Good to know**

1. This guide relates to gameplay on the version 1.4.124. I have no idea if there is a significant difference when playing other versions.
2. The scoring time shown here is measured from the first Pou jump to the appearance of the green “SCORE!” caption.

# Basics

First of all, from what we know, on hard level it’s **impossible to score from the serve**. The bot is designed in such a way that it prevents us from doing that. Therefore, there was a need to figure out something different.

The very first and most commonly used tactic was as follows:

1. You jump right after the game starts, without moving left or right, and then move your Pou as close to the net as possible.
2. This serve forces the bot to hit the ball slightly to the left, just over the net.
3. Jumping at the right time with your Pou secures a point.

This is not the easiest but definitely not a frame-perfect jump. You can jump early, before the bot hits the net, or wait a little and jump just before the bot hits the ground. It depends on your preferences. In general, scoring one point with this tactic takes **around 3.2 seconds**, if done correctly.

Moreover, I noticed that if you come close to the net right after the serve, sometimes Pou is pushed slightly left from the net, which prevents you from scoring, even if you jump at the right time. Since I wait a moment to fall before coming close to the net, this hardly ever happens.

# You can make it faster

Nevertheless, it turned out not to be the fastest tactic possible! There is a much more efficient way of scoring. What about a two-shot ace? Yes, it’s possible, and I’m going to explain it bit by bit. The idea is to move slightly to the right before the jump. What happens next depends on how slight the movement was. Here are all the scenarios explained:

1. The ball flies over the net – the bot catches it and you’re cooked

2. The ball lands in front of the net – scoring is possible, but you are required to bounce the ball off the right wall, as shown below (time: **~2.2 seconds**)

3. The ball lands between your Pou and the net – you have to spike the ball at the right time to score (time: **~2.0 seconds**)

4. The ball flies just above your Pou – **impossible to score directly** (maybe for the same reason why you can’t score from the serve)

5. The ball is slightly behind Pou – it’s still possible to score, but a specific hit is needed (time: **~2.4 seconds**)

6. The ball moves far left – too far to score :/

These shots are much harder to hit correctly. Are they frame-perfect? I think they are. Are they faster? Much faster. Using this tactic, we are able to **save up to over one second on every point** compared to the previous tactic!

# There's another one

I also found another tactic, different from the others:

1. You jump and move right at the same time.
2. If done correctly, the bot will pass you the ball in front of the net and jump.
3. You shoot the ball and try to hit the body of the bot. As a result, the ball lands under the bot and you score.

Using this tactic, the average score takes **~2.8 seconds**, which is slower than performing a two-shot ace, but a little faster than the first one.

**I really do recommend trying it!** While the most common one doesn't give you any chance to make it below 42 second, this tactic can easily help you get your first **sub 40s** run. Just remember to hold the jump and right arrow simultaneously before the next point and you are guaranteed to set up the ball into the right position. In my opinion, it’s really worth trying.
