So since the game has 3 cups can we have individual categories for those cups? I like the idea of the Any% but smaller categories is always a good idea to have in a game like this.

Maybe have a variable to do all races or just the main races (I'm not sure what to call them but basically one skips the side events and the other one does them as well as the normal races if that makes sense?)

Maybe 100%, getting all golds and all drivers too

What we're currently considering is the following.

"All Grand Prix" *New Game+

A category where you clear all 10 GPs in order.

"Group (α / EX / Z)" *New Game+

A category where you play each group (3GP).

For this we plan to make "GP Only" and "All Races."

What do you think?

@kagetar0 Yeah I can work with that, with the all races category though are you planning on having it include everything (Jokers as well as the normal races) or just the main 4 races before each GP?

All Races will include both "JOKER" and "vs Rival".

I created a category.

Had a thought, I know we've got All Grand Prix as a category for this game but what about All Arcade GP? The tracks are different in some races as they are never seen in any other part of the game aside from Duels etc.

In terms of other categories, I've had a few thoughts about some others:

• All Duels
• All Side Races
• Any% NG+ (Would be faster by mins IMO)

Of the suggestions here, I would like to see perhaps at least a second person have expressed interest in these as the RTA categories are already severely underplayed. I'd be open to tracking times in a spreadsheet if you decide you want to run them anyway. Just let me know either way or let me know if you know of a second party that is interested (or anyone else feel free to support the category suggestions).

It's been a while. I came across this forum after not seeing this page for a while, so I'd like to offer my opinion on the suggested categories. @ViperUK

• All Arcade GP

I understand the argument that the courses are different. However, since they are almost identical, I didn't create this category.

• All Duels = All vs Rival Battles

I think this should be added.

• All Side Races = All Jokers

I don't think many people will participate in this, but it might be worth adding.

(I considered this without Duels.)

• NG+(Any%)

The times might be slightly faster, but the content is almost the same, so I think it's not necessary.

Instead, I've made "All Grand Prix" with NG+ rules, so I think this could serve as a substitute.

My suggestion is…

1. First, change the category "All Races" to "All Missions." The rules remain unchanged.
2. Then, make "All Races" a category for racing on courses other than "Side Races and GP" in Championship.(All regular races and Duels)
