There is one more opportunity to get invited to play in the championship. It is our Last Chance Qualifier and is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 29, starting at 2:00pm EDT. Our major tournament for this year is about to take place next month. We've been holding monthly tournaments for the past year to determine seeding for the major.
To be invited to play in the major, you have to play in at least one of the monthly tournaments. Qualifying for the final monthly tournament of the series, the Blaine Open, has just opened in our Discord server. The final tournament happens August 16 starting at 2:00pm ET.

The League of Puzzle Speedrunners' final open registration 1P Stadium major tournament begins in a couple of weeks. Starting in November, future major tournaments will be seeded based on performance in smaller monthly tournaments.

If you have had interest in playing in our speedrun tournaments, as head tournament organizer, I am inviting YOU to join our Discord server, if you haven't already, and check out our #tournaments channel where I have posted a document of rules we would follow for future tournaments, which would include putting together MONTHLY tournaments! We would start the monthly Pokémon Puzzle League tournament in November after the next major tournament, but we would transition to monthly tournaments for each of Pokémon Puzzle League and Tetris Attack.

To reflect the rules for the upcoming speedrun tournament, there is now a whitelist of emulators that will be allowed for leaderboard submission. You may now use the following emulators:
Project64 versions 1.6 and above Dolphin versions 5.0 and above
Project64 version 2 was previously banned in the SpeedRunsLive ruleset due to an increased frame rate at which the games ran, but we never gathered any evidence to confirm this. With the release of Project64 version 3, this rule no longer serves a functional purpose. We encourage every emulator user to use the most recent versions for the most stable gameplay experience.
The rules that apply to every category are also now consolidated in the Main Rules tab.
Our annual Pokémon Puzzle League speedrun tournament is opening up on August 1, but the tournament page is now available for review and comment! There are multiple tournaments to sign up for and a new way to qualify for seeds in the group/pool stage!
