You want to follow the Any% Normal/Advanced Route

Once you get to EX, go to Normal Rank C. Take Shaymin off your Wiimote (if applicable) and buy it moves until it learns Swords Dance/Growth/Air Slash.

Once you have that, go to EX and complete EX 1 and 2.

After beating EX2, go into Eternal Tower with Raichu, and complete the stage until you get 2 Gengar (or more).

If the Gengar doesn't know Night Shade, go to Normal Rank C and buy it moves until it learns Night Shade.

Once Night Shade is learned, go to EX and do EX 3 and 4.
Watch the World Record to see Night Shade strats in action in EX 3 and 4. It makes the category much more consistent.

The most optimal way to play this category is to beat the bosses in each rank from most bulky, to least bulky. So that's what I tried to do with this route, if more is found out about which pokemon is bulky-er than others (because they go off defense and HP) than the route will be updated.

(BIG NOTE: In order to have the password pokemon saved onto your wiimote, you need to maximize their power. In this run you will be using Raichu (Power ranges 1600ish), Rattata (Power 388), Blastoise (Power ranging from around 1595-1601), and Shaymin (Power around 2550), so in order to put shaymin on your wiimote you need to beat Advanced Mode and or get to EX Mode and then you will be able to save them to your wiimote. Also when saving these pokemon to your wiimote be sure to give a heart to Raichu, Rattata and Shaymin, this makes menuing a bit more optimal. You can also just put in the passwords after the tutorial level but this is obviously a slower option)

(ANOTHER BIG NOTE: This category has less RNG since it uses Passwords. The Placement of Pokemon, what pokemon is it is, the power of the pokemon, the moves it has, its behavior, and what pokemon drop is all RNG. Also whether the pokemon has a Special Trait, or is Shiny is RNG. But you don’t have to worry too much about what pokemon you get, just as long as you get the power you need for each rank.)

(LAST BIG NOTE: There are ways to know whether a pokemon is going to drop or not. If you stun a pokemon and there are stars around it, if you kill it in time it will always drop (Example of this: http://bombch.us/CJib ). All shiny's will drop 100% of the time and all will have a Special Trait. Sometimes you will notice a pokemon that has a "sparkly tint" around the model (you will see little stars) this also means that it will always drop, so look out for those pokemon too (Example of this: http://bombch.us/CJiY ). For this category dont worry about picking pokemon up until the 4th stage you enter (or the third stage if they are in your way.)

(Special Trait: Pokemon can drop with this games version of "Natures" called "Special Traits". These Special Traits give the pokemon abilities it wouldn’t have if it was an ordinary pokemon, here is a list of all the Traits and their advantages. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Special_Traits
Difference between Special Trait Pokemon and Normal Pokemon: Special Trait http://bombch.us/CJib Normal http://bombch.us/CJiY
You arent going to exactly need to worry about these pokemon because you already have a Speedy Rattata, but this is here for reference.)

Rank C - Needed Power - 100

Once you get to the battle royal with Rattata, you want to die ASAP, so don't attack anything.
You want to go in front of the pokemon that are the most powerful and get hit by their moves
So Wigglytuff, Butterfree, and Parasect are the 3 you want to look for first
If neither of those are in sight, go towards a Pikachu
If none of those 4 show up or are close to you, just go to whatever is closest and die ASAP.

After that there will be 4 text boxes (mash through those) and head to Silent Forest (only stage available)
Go through the stage and dodge the pokemon to the best of your abilities.
There are text boxes in each of the rooms because this is the tutorial level, you are able to tackle and move up a little further than intended to if you time your tackle correctly with the text box spawning, this doesnt save that much time just a neat little time saver.
The only pokemon you will need to attack is Pikachu which is in the 2nd room
Collect the Pikachu but stay as Rattata for now.
You may need to tackle some pokemon depending if you are about to get hit by them or not, but just try to get to each trampoline ASAP.
Right before you enter the Boss Fight (Ivysaur) switch from Rattata to Pikachu
Fight Ivysaur and go towards the trampoline

(Note: You dont have to worry about getting the coins that drop from pokemon)

(Another Note: After Silent Forest you will be able to skip the animation of the bosses for each stage, all the trampoline animations, speed up the wind up animation of any pokemon you select to use, and scroll through all the pokemon you collected at the end of the fight instead of mashing through each one)

After completing Silent Forest, go into your Shiny Rattata and enter Eternal Tower.

Run through the stage and bop Marowak

Enter Bright Beach and bop Wartortle

Enter Rocky Cave and bop Arbok

Enter Fiery Furnace and bop Charmeleon

Enter Windy Prairie and bop Persian

If you have not gotten the power you need by entering the last stage you might have to kill some pokemon that are on the way to the boss. Generally You will get the power you need before the last stage. Its most ideal for the power pokemon to be one of the bosses that you beat since you have to fight them.

Enter Rank C Battle Royal
You have 3 lives to complete the battle royal, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon.
Start the Battle Royal with Shaymin. If you die pretty early on in the battle royal switch to Blastoise, but if you are pretty close to being done, you can go into Rattata and use Double Edge.
After completing the Battle Royal, switch to Raichu (if you haven't already) and go to the Rank B trampoline

(Note: Raichu has Agility and Thunder, each room you enter with Raichu use Agility)

Rank B - Needed Power - 200

Enter Rocky Cave and bop Rydon

Enter Fiery Furnace and bop Magmar

Enter Silent Forest and bop Raichu

Enter Bright Beach and bop Jynx

After the 4th stage getting the power you need is a lot easier.

Enter Eternal Tower and bop Electabuzz

Enter Windy Prairie and bop Pidgeot

Start the Battle Royal with Shaymin. If you die pretty early on in the battle royal switch to Blastoise, but if you are pretty close to being done, you can go into Raichu.

After completing the Battle Royal, switch to Raichu (if you haven't already) go to the Rank A trampoline

Rank A - Needed Power - 400

Enter Rocky Cave and bop Lapras

Enter Silent Forest and bop Venasaur

Enter Bright Beach and bop Blastoise

Enter Fiery Furnace and bop Charizard

After the 4th stage getting the power you need is a lot easier.
You can enter Windy Prairie or Eternal Tower 5th and 6th, both are the same speed. So use personal preference.

Enter Windy Prairie and bop Aerodactyl

Enter Eternal Tower and bop Gengar

After completing the Battle Royal go into Raichu (if you haven't already) and go to the Rank S trampoline

Rank S - Needed Power - 600

The power gap from A to S is kinda large. If you are to die as Raichu in any stage switch to Blastoise/Rattata, finish the stage and switch back to Raichu after completing that stage.

Enter Silent Forest and bop Snorlax

Enter Eternal Tower and bop Zapdos

Enter Windy Prairie and bop Dragonite

Enter Rocky Cave and bop Articuno

Enter Rank S Battle Royal
You have 3 lives to complete the battle royale, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon.

Start the Battle Royal with Shaymin. If you die pretty early on in the battle royal switch to Blastoise, but if you are pretty close to being done, you can go into Rattata and use Double Edge, or Raichu, OR use one of your high 500 or 600 power pokemon you picked up earlier if you dont have any other password pokemon left.

Similar to Rank B, you have to kill one of the legendary birds in order to spawn Mewtwo (the FINAL boss). Once you kill Mewtwo you still have to mash through some cutscenes.

Timing ends once you collect the coin after beating S Rank Battle Royal

You are going to want Speedy out of all of these because you guessed it, it is fast. So if you see a special trait pokemon drop pick it up because it could be Speedy.
Difference between Special Trait Pokemon and Normal Pokemon: Special Trait http://bombch.us/CJib Normal http://bombch.us/CJiY )

Rank C

Once you get to the battle royale with Rattata, you want to die ASAP, so don't attack anything.

After completing Silent Forest, stay as Pikachu and go into Windy Prairie
Now you want to get a pokemon that has Quick Attack, but also will be useful throughout Rank C
So as Pikachu kill as many Spearows, Fearows, Doduos, and Dodrios as you can until one of them is 70+ Power and it has Quick Attack. (Persian is also good to use if you get the boss drop)
If you get a good power pokemon and it doesn't have Quick Attack, Peck and Fury Attack are also good to have
So you don't have to go out of your way at that point if you get (For Example) A Power 79 Spearow with Peck, because though it doesnt have Quick Attack it has a good attack for fighting.
If you get a Fearow or ESPECIALLY a Dodrio use them over Spearow and Doduo. Their walking speed is very good and usully have a good power and move.

(Note: If ANY boss in the run drops, PICK IT UP (except Ivysaur, fuk dat kid)

After Windy Prarie you will go to the Fiery Furnace
This stages doesn't have any pokemon you are going to want, so you can just go through the stage as fast as possible, don't try to pick anything up. If Charmeleon drops pick it up

After completing the Fiery Furnace, you will enter the Rocky Cave
Instead of trying to go through the stage as fast as possible you will want to kill EVERYTHING IN SIGHT
The reason for this is because in order to unlock the Battle Royale in Rank C you need a 100 Power pokemon or higher.
And the more stages you complete the stronger the pokemon in that Rank can become. So after beating Fiery Furnace you would have beaten 3 stages and going into your fourth. After 3 stages (and sometimes with really good RNG in the third stage) the power of pokemon is just good enough to get you the power you need for each rank. And we want to go into the Stage that has the best pokemon for fighting and have the best chances for being high powers.
Again you want to kill everything so you can get the power ASAP but here are some of the better pokemon/moves to get in Rank C Rocky Cave
Machop: Karate Chop (best pokemon to get)
Clefairy: Double Slap: (good)
Machop : Low Kick (decent)
Clefairy: Pound (decent)
Geodude: Magnitude (decent)

Enter Rank C Battle Royale
You have 3 lives to complete the battle royale, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon, so be smart of what pokemon you pick by looking at the moves they have and the power of the pokemon.
After completing the Battle Royale go to the Rank B tramopline

Rank B

Enter Windy Prairie as whatever your strongest pokemon is (unless it is geodude than enter with whatever is close the it)
You are going to want to kill ONLY Pidgeys and Pidgeottos because you want to get a Quick Attack pokemon for Rank B. Once you have a 120-130+ Pidgey/Pidgeotto switch into that pokemon. If you don't get a quick attack pokemon even after the Pidgeot fight, (Pick up Pidgeot if it drops) use whatever pokemon that has the best power and decent move

Enter Fiery Furnace and go through it as fast as possible. If you dont have good pokemon for speed, picking up a Voltorb or Ponyta would be helpful because they both have good walking speed and can have good moves.

Enter Eternal Tower and go through it as fast as possible. It is always good to get a Kadabra because it has really fast walking speed and Confusion is a really good move in this game. Also Rank B is the Rank "Early Power Drop" occurs the most. Early Power Drop is getting the power you need for the battle royale in the rank you are in, in the 3rd stage you enter instead of the 4th stage. It is the best RNG and you can get it on pokemon throughout the stage but the pokemon that will most likely be (in this case) 200 power is Electabuzz, the boss of Eternal Tower Rank B. So This is always a possibility, but dont go out of your way to kill everything.

If you do not get the early power drop you will then go into Fiery Furnace again and kill everything until you get a 200 power. Here are spme of the better pokemon/moves to get in Rank B Fiery Furnace
Ponyta: Ember (Good)
Growlithe: Ember (Good)
Growlithe: Bite (decent)
Voltorb: Spark (good)
Voltob: Rollout (decent)

Enter Rank B Battle Royale
You have 3 lives to complete the battle royale, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon, so be smart of what pokemon you pick by looking at the moves they have and the power of the pokemon. The bosses come out differently in Rank B than in Rank C, So you have to kill Golem, Alakazam, or Gengar in order to spawn Machamp
After completing the Battle Royale go to the Rank A tramopline

Rank A

Enter Windy Prairie as whatever your strongest pokemon is. You are going to want to kill ONLY Pidgeottos and Persians because you want to get a Quick Attack pokemon for Rank A. Persian doesnt have Quick Attack but it has good attacks and has fast walking speed, so it is a good alternitive to have if you dont get Quick Attack or need another pokemon for battling. If you don't get a quick attack pokemon even after the Aerodactyl fight, (Pick up Aerodactyl if it drops) use whatever pokemon that has the best power and decent move. (If Aerodactyl drops use him!)

Enter Fiery Furnace and go through it as fast as possible. Everything in this stage arent really good, Ninetales and Charmeleon are alright, but dont go out of your way to get them. If Charizard drops pick him up and use it.

(Note: Use your best judgement on Aerodactyl and Charizard if they drop, if you get both of them to drop Aerodactyl is faster but also look at the powers and moves of both of them because they are both fast.)

Enter Eternal Tower and go through it as fast as possible. It is always good to get a Kadabra because it has really fast walking speed and Confusion is a really good move in this game. Other than that just try to get through the stage as fast as possible.

Enter Rocky Cave and kill everything until you get a power 400 (you dont have to kill slowpoke), Here are some of the better pokemon/moves to get in Rocky Cave Rank A
Machoke: Karate Chop (great)
Clefable: Wake-Up Slap (good)
Machoke: Low Kick (decent)
Clefable: Double Slap (decent)
Slowbro: Headbutt, Confusion (decent)
Graveler: Magnitude, Rollout (decent)

Enter Rank A Battle Royale
You have 3 lives to complete the battle royale, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon, so be smart of what pokemon you pick by looking at the moves they have and the power of the pokemon.
After completing the Battle Royale go to the Rank S tramopline

Rank S

Enter Windy Prairie, Getting a Dodrio or Fearow is your goal. They both are good for walking speed and can have agility which is the equivalent of having a speedy pokemon, so definitely pick those up. Aerodactyl is also a good pick up if it drops!

Enter Fiery Furnace, the power gap from A to S is kinda large, so the pokemon in Fiery Furnace are very good and powerful. I would recommend getting a Charizard/Rapidash or two. They are both good at battling and have good walking speed. Try not to go too far out of your way to get some pokemon but make sure you get a few, S Rank is difficult. (I will say if anything drops I would pick it up if it isnt too far out of the way to be safe)

Enter Eternal Tower and go through it as fast as possible. It is always good to get an Alakazam because it has really fast walking speed and Confusion is a really good move in this game. Nidoking is decent but other than that just try to get through the stage as fast as possible.

Enter Fiery Furnace and kill everything until you get a power of 600. Here are some better pokemon to get in Fiery Furnace Rank S. All these pokemon can have a large variety of moves, here are some of those moves
Charizard: Dragon Claw, Shadow Claw, Air Slash, Fire Fang, Ember
Rapidash: Poison Jab, Ember, Mega Horn
Arcanine: Fire Fang, Ember
Electrode: Thundershock, Spark, Rollout

Before you enter the Battle Royale! If you aren't confident in the pokemon you have for the final Battle Royale, you can go and buy a pokemon. This is at the bottom left in the red box, just go to it and mash. All the coins you have gotten from the previous battle royales give you enough to buy 1 pokemon. The pokemon and its moves are all RNG, so it can be a Zapdos or it can be a Ditto, but its a good last chance to get a good pokemon for battling.

When you are ready enter the Battle Royale and be careful! You have 3 lives to complete the battle royale, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon, so be smart of what pokemon you pick by looking at the moves they have and the power of the pokemon.
You have to kill one of the legendary birds in order to spawn Mewtwo (the FINAL boss). Once you kill Mewtwo you still have to mash through some cutscenes.

Timing ends once you collect the coin after beating S Rank Battle Royal

Rank S - Needed Power - 600

Enter Eternal Tower and bop Zapdos

Enter Fiery Furnace and bop Moltres

Enter Bright Beach and bop Gyarados

Enter Fiery Furnace and kill everything until you get a power of 600.

Enter Rank S Battle Royal
You have 3 lives to complete the battle royale, but you can not switch out pokemon in the middle of the battle, once you select a pokemon you are locked in until you win or die with that pokemon.
Start the Battle Royal with Shaymin. If you die pretty early on in the battle royal switch to Blastoise, but if you are pretty close to being done, you can go into Rattata and use Double Edge OR use one of your high 500 or 600 power pokemon you picked up earlier if you dont have any other password pokemon left.
Similar to Rank B, you have to kill one of the legendary birds in order to spawn Mewtwo (the FINAL boss). Once you kill Mewtwo you still have to mash a little.

Timing ends once you collect the coin after beating S Rank Battle Royal

(You put this password in at the very end of the run, as the last pokemon you collect, you do not use it at all.)

Collect money after boss fights/100Coins in Stages

You need either multiple Gutsy pokemon both stronger and weak (weak is more effective), or Endeavor to complete this run in a relatively fast manner. So make sure you get either of these or both by entering EX or right when you get to EX.

Route when you enter a stage based on how quickly you can kill the boss/the pokemon that are in the stage.
Pokemon that are Gutsy/Scrappy (Gutsy is better) or have high critical hit moves are also useful for making pokemon drop. Having multiple (especially low power) Gutsy pokemon really work well with getting rare pokemon in the run, so keep all your Gutsy Pokemon especially if it's weak.

Getting a decent power pokemon with Endeavor is also really effective for collecting rare pokemon. I recommend getting Starly's/Staravia/Starptor through Advanced and go from there, if you need Endeavor by EX go to Windy Prarie and grind until you get an endeavor pokemon.

Pokemon that learn Endeavor
Beedrill Buneary Chansey Chimchar Clefable Clefairy Combee Cranidos Cubone Doduo Dodrio Happiny Infernape Jigglypuff Kangaskhan
Kricketot Kricketune Lopunny Mamoswine Mankey Marowak Mew Monferno Poliwag Poliwhirl Poliwrath Primeape Rampardos Rattata Raticate Rhyhorn Rhydon Rhyperior Shaymin (Land Form) Staraptor Staravia Starly Tangela Tauros Togekiss Vespiquen Wigglytuff Wormadam (Ground and Steel Forms)

Grind in EX until you Collect all 3 of the Lake Guardians.
Mespirit - Silent Forest and Windy Prarie
Uxie - Bright Beach and Rocky Cave
Azelf - Eternal Tower and Fiery Furnace

You want to grind in stages that have pokemon you need (duh).
Grinding for Uxie you want to prioritize Vaporeon over Glaceon, so you go to Bright Beach instead. If you have all 3-4 Vaporeons then go for Rocky Cave, but you want to make sure you have all 4 of your Vaporeons, they are a pain
Grinding for Mespirit you want to prioritize Silent Forest over Windy Prarie until you get Leafeon. The eeveelutions are important, rare, and annoying so if you need them, prioritize them.
Grinding for Azelf just go to whatever stages you don't have an eeveelution from/need more pokemon from. If you have one or the other/get one or the other while grinding for Azelf, go to the other stage.

Once you have all 3 of the Lake Guardians, go back to Normal and collect all the pokemon in the rest of the ranks, if you still need Vaporeon and you have all the Dragonites and Lapras (and the rest of the pokemon) you can get Vaporeon in Advanced Rank S Bright Beach. After Normal you will finish the run is Advanced, collect the rest of the pokemon, make your tickets and complete the pokedex.

After EX, you can go back to Normal/Advanced to collect the rest of what you need. I recommend doing it in this order.

Go back to Normal Rank C and finish the stages in Ranks C and B.
Once done with Rank B, go to Rank S and Buy Pokemon until you get Dragonite.
Complete Firey Furnace (and Silent Forest if you don't have Snorlax) and Buy more Pokemon until you have the Boss's/Vaporeon
Go back to Rank A and finish up Kanto Dex
Go to Advanced
Advanced is more free range in terms of what pokemon show up when, you will spend most of your time in Advanced Rank S and A so do with that information as you will.

Go to Rank C and collect em all in Ranks C and B
From here you can go off of how many more boss's/eeveelutions/rotoms you need.
Rotom shows up starting Rank A, and seems to show up more in Rank A. But Eeveelutions are all in Rank S along with Rotom and Bosses that you will need. So it depends on what RNG you have in your run.

Depending on what Password Pokemon you put in at the beginning of the run, finish putting them in, do the needed tickets and go to "Collection" Time ends when the game Congratulates you for Collecting Em All!

How to install Pokemon Rumble on Wii/vWii

Since the eShop has been closed for a while now, if you're looking to get Pokemon Rumble, here's how. (This guide will work for any Virtual Console or WiiWare game, as long as you are able to locate a game file for it.)

1. Homebrew your Wii. If you don't know how to do this, there are countless guides on the internet. Here's one of them, in video form: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtOQf3D1zdQ

2. Download the WiiMod Lite WAD Manager and the Pokemon Rumble WAD. WADs are the Virtual Console and eShop game files. We need WiiMod to actually install and run the games. Here's a fantastic guide on how to set this up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aehZnDUQw44
I will not provide any links for downloading the game file itself, since that's piracy or something.

Note: After installing WiiMod, if your Wii starts giving you a pop-up message saying that your storage is full, you will need to delete some save files on your Wii. There's a very good chance that the "block available" count on the bottom right corner will not move from 0 from the first few files you delete. Don't panic if this happens; the Wii lies to you about how much storage you really have left. This is because the system memory is used by WiiMod as a buffer to load games from, so you need enough space to essentially download the game onto your Wii at all times.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vip4edkBAS8
If you would like to download this on your vWii on the WiiU, follow this tutorial and make sure to NOT uninstall multi-mod manager, you will need it
