Rejuvenation's been updated since the last submitted run so I feel like there should be some rule changes based on when the speedrun ends and other stuff like that, but I don't know exactly what the rule change would be.
As someone who plans on doing a run it would be greatly appreciated if there were any rules and/or categories based on the new version. Obviously no debug mode, but what about passwords? Which ones would be allowed, which ones not etc. As well as the option to categorize the run as paragon or renegade.
Sorry, this thread fell through the cracks...I suggest you do a run using whatever rules/features you feel are reasonable, and post a link to it in the discord, with all your rules and reasoning behind them. I don't run this game, and we generally will create a category ONCE a run has been completed.
For sure, go for whatever rules! I know there have been loads of changes since I ran this so feel free to use any passwords you want and I'd say just submit under a new version, (can split into v12 - my old run and v13.5(?)/latest version).
Was just thinking about possible rules and or categories for this game, might be fun to have password (not including the Terajuma one), and no password categories, as well as a third category for anyone who wants to use the password that lets you skip to the Terajuma story arc, as well as categories for the renegade and other ending.
Not sure if that would be too much, but I feel as though this game could have a decent amount of popularity for a fangame, given its popularity and (IMO) slightly easier difficulty in game and in terms of the max turbo speed being way less than Reborn.
