Help with the defection door.

In still really new to speedrunning and I can't seem to find the right spot. I glitch through but fall back in shortly after. Most times I just get stuck and have to reset. Is there a certain texture i need to aim for or do i need more momentum to get all the way oob. I've tried to mimic other runs but still get stuck in the wall or just clip back in bounds. If someone could point me to a detailed guide or explain it here, that would be great.

There was a tutorial on it but the channel that made it got deleted by the maker. Sadly there isn't one that I know of atm. How I learned it 15 years ago was just really watching and slowing down other runs that did it and practiced and practiced until I got it and proceeded to get better from there.

Cool beans. I'll just study some of the other runs as close as I can. Oh and about the glitchless run, no worries. I was actually wondering about it. Magnum must be drawn like 64 then, correct?

Nah it's just the full Joanna to the end of her laugh. You can get an idea by watching my glitchless run on the leaderboard.

I'm honestly kinda meh at the glitch but i can explain what I can, with the door closed you can fully crouch to get in there, kinda shimmy yourself so you are not full crouched while OoB then make a strafe jump off the side to attempt to land depend which diff you are doing( elevator for agent, cassandras room/ emp target for SA and clipping in and out around the side for Perfect agent objectives. It is easier to get while the door is open towards the helipad., Also not as usful as i think this second one might be n64 exclusive you can clip out the side of the building from the staircase of the otherside you start on.

Speaking of n64 from the elite wiki there is a n64 guide from wyst3r most things still apply
