How to install the mappack?

-- How to install as a mappack on the Steampipe (Steam Version)? --
1. Go to your Steam folder


2. Reach Steam\steamapps\common\Portal\portal\maps\


3. On another window, reach \pcborrr\maps from the extracted folder.


4. Copy the maps from pcborrr on Portal's maps folder and overwrite files. Don't worry, Original folder contains the original maps.



5. Rename your nodegraph in portal/maps/graphs from escape_02.ain to escape_02_d_180


6. Run Portal through Steam


7. OPTIONAL Install speedrun_demorecorder by Maxxuss and SPT

Make sure you have all the bsps from testchmb_a_00 to testchmb_a_15 and escape_00 and escape_01 and escape_02_d_180

The same can probably be done in the Source Unpack but I am not responsible if it doesn't work.

How to start a run ?

1. Make sure the nodegraph for escape_02_d_180 exists
2. Make sure ai_norebuildgraph is set to 1
2. bis You can put ai_norebuildgraph in your autoexec.cfg
2. ter You can also load 00 an extra time to set ai_norebuildgraph to 1 (there is a ai_norebuildgraph 1 on map spawn)
3. SourceSplit should work, except that it will not split in E01/E02 transition, it will not autostart aswell, and it will not autostop after killing GlaDOS, but the other splits will work and loading times will work fine.
