Hello everyone,

We have recently observed an increase in cheated runs. To protect the integrity of the leaderboards, we are introducing stricter verification rules effective immediately.

Streaming Requirements

Runs must now be streamed if they fall under these placements:

• Top 5 for Any% and Glitchless

• Top 3 for All Chapters, 100%, No OOB (both All Chapters and Any%)

• Top 1 for all other categories on the main boards, except ILs.

These rankings apply to both Main Game and Whistleblower.

Category Extensions and are not subject to streaming restrictions.

These requirements are only for PC. Console runs are exempt from this rule.

If you are unable to stream (for example, due to hardware limitations or internet connectivity issues), we do offer handcam as an alternative. Check the rules for more information. Any more questions feel free to contact the moderation team.

Run Submission

You must provide the full VOD of your stream (if you fall under the streaming requirements), uploaded to YouTube or another platform where the video will remain permanently available. Twitch has a built-in export feature that allows you to send your stream directly to YouTube (tutorial here).

Camera Timer

The in-game camera timer must remain visible and readable at all times (when the camera is up). This rules applies to everyone.

Sanctions

Expect much harsher sanctions regarding cheating in the future. You have been warned.

Usage of Trofline’s tools

Since Trofline has cheated and lied to us multiple times, we can no longer consider his tools trustworthy. All of them are banned from use in runs and will no longer be listed on Speedrun.com or in #ol1-tutorials-resources.
