Glitches Rework

The Glitches category has been reworked to improve organization, balance, and clarity across all runs. Just like the Glitchless category, Glitches will now use its own patch/era system to accurately reflect mechanical differences over time.

Removal of “Unpatched” and “Patched”

Previously, the Glitches category used the variables “unpatched” and “patched.” These variables have now been fully removed.

The new Era/Patch system replaces them entirely. Instead of labeling runs as patched or unpatched, they are now placed into the correct era based on the version and mechanics of the game at the time of the run. This provides cleaner separation and makes the leaderboard more consistent.

New Variables: “No Major Glitches” and “Any%”

• No Major Glitches (NMG): For runs that do not skip large areas or break major sections of the map. These are glitches that keep most of the intended structure intact.

• Any%: Runs focused on achieving the fastest possible times, with strategies that skip large areas of the map and break the level structure.

Orphaned Runs

Because this restructuring affected a large number of submissions, some runs may have been unintentionally moved, misplaced, or become “orphaned.”

If you find your run missing, placed in the wrong era, or appearing as orphaned, please contact the moderation team or simply reupload the run. We will fix these cases as quickly as possible.

What’s an Era/Patch?

Each patch includes different walkspeed, map versions, and timers. A new era is created when there are notable changes in game mechanics, such as a new timer, walkspeed adjustments, or revamped maps.

We are working hard to categorize each era accurately. If you notice something that we missed, let us know! Don’t be discouraged if your current time is exceeded by past patches, game mechanics were different back then.

Current Patch & Previous Patch

For the most recent runs, the Current Patch contains runs from 2024, where walkspeed differences are minimal or nonexistent, and the timer/maps remain the same.

The Previous Patch corresponds to 2023 runs. However, this does not mean that a new patch will be created every year. The moderation team decides when to introduce a new patch based on significant game changes made by the developers.

If maps marked with (*) return to the game in the future, they will not result in a new patch unless noticeable changes impact the leaderboard.

Major vs. No Major

The progress bar system has been removed, returning to the previous major/no major classification. These have been reorganized under the glitchless category, where you can view your runs.

If in the future, shortcuts are widely patched, or checkpoints are implemented in the progress bar or levels, we will re-evaluate and determine whether to reinstate the progress bar system.

Moderation & Legacy Runs

The moderation is active again to keep the website healthy and up to date.

Regarding old runs with unavailable videos (from past eras), they will not be removed, as they represent key moments in the game’s history. These runs, along with the players who achieved them, have left a legacy that will be preserved on the site. However, this exception does not apply to the current era.
