Frame Perfect Backflip Guide

This guide is for the Frame Perfect Backflip Streak Extended Category.

Upon first loading the rom, the screen will show as follows:

After loading, and you gain control of Ryu, the ROM will keep track of every time you complete a frame perfect backflip. The more you string together, the higher the counter will tick in the Ninpo box, highlighted below:

After breaking your streak, the previous attempts will switch to the "P" category.

To initiate the streak, face a direction and jump. While in the air, hold the opposite direction from which you were facing and press the jump button exactly 43 frames after the initial jump.

Ryu's face and hand should line up with the bottom of the brick tiles in the background. Shown below:

You can streak together infinite backflips, by pressing jump ever 43 frames exactly. I have tried using a metronome to get rhythm, but haven't had much luck.

The button press is 43 frame, which is about every 0.71 seconds, or about 83.8 beats per minute.

Try not to get in your head about the count! Rhythm is the key!

Good luck!
