It's been a long time since I played this game, back around the wrrecord.com era. I was wondering if there are still people actively running it. If so, do I need a specific patch or version of the game to submit runs?
Yeah there's still a decent amount of people running it, I for one run the GBA version in terms of ILs and also did the PC version of the demo, but there are some rules in place like you must show the frame rate counter in runs and you have to install the wide-screen patch, also following the rules on the wide-screen patch and also showing the dyno screens at the end of the run.
If you are running on console instead of PC then you pretty much just follow the same rules as before but without the wide-screen patch. Hope this helps :)
You can use the widescreen patch, it's just the one that's provided in the resources tab. There's no specific version you need, just read the rules and just about all the information you'd need should be there. If not, join the Discord and ask directly.
Maybe in the future, but for now I want to focus on drag and circuit to get back up to speed, since that's what I used to run back in the day.
