Today I wanted to go for the record again and was surprised to see that recently a new player has claimed the title of first. I was really excited as the time was a lot lower than me and Dramamine's. But it turns out the player added a -14 second interval at the beginning menu so the time started when they got control. All previous runs had the timer start with no such -14 second interval and were recorded as such here. This means that LuhLeaks accidentally got the world record while not actually getting it. In reality if we were to add 14 seconds to their time they are behind both the past 1st and 2nd place. I would like it to be standardized so all previous runs are subtracted the 14 seconds or 14 seconds are added to the current world record.

Honestly, I hadn't even seen the run when I got the notification, I thought a 5s difference was crazy but just assumed there was some insane tech someone found and I just shrugged my shoulders.

There really should be a parity adjustment to the time or flat out removal since the runner literally did not follow the rules.
