There are 3 Main Categories we’re offering to start: NG+, NG+ Abridged, and Any%

NG+ and Any% are as you expect with options at the easiest and hardest difficulties.

However we have introduced a 3rd unconventional category called NG+ Abridged that aims to cut down the 3+ hour NG+ run into a manageable 1-1.5 hour run that removes the slowest-paced missions in the game. Read the rules to see our full criteria on it and the complete mission list. We hope this shorter category will make this game a lot more enticing to new runners as well as create a more enjoyable category to optimize long-term

Each Nightmare Door has its own IL. These are timed with the in-game time you achieve on the results screen at the end. Each of these are separated between the two difficulty groups, except for the Traversal challenges (difficulty doesn’t affect Traversal). Gauntlets have you speedrun to the end of 25 waves (points or ranks are irrelevant)

The easiest difficulty in all runs is very lenient and allows anything in terms of settings or glitches. The Best There Is (“TBTI”) Difficulty has a few requirements you have to prove and show on every run. It’s very important you double check the rules and follow them for each one of your TBTI runs/ILs.

Just to start out, we are NOT offering a ”100%” category as an option quite yet. The debate on what 100% should entail has been mixed, but it’s even tougher given that nobody has started any% routing yet which may influence how we want to set up 100% runs and see if it needs more substance or not to be different enough in length/routing/combat. This would help us determine if a shorter lenient criteria or a longer more involved criteria is best suited for 100%. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to 100% runs immediately
