I don't really know how to get the console working on singleplayer. I'm not willing to go to those shady sites and download an injectable just to get a VAC ban for my stupidity.

You can access console only via IW4X client which is banned to use in speedruns.

You still can use config for whatever binds or devsaves you might need in singleplayer.

Putting com_maxfps (value) never actually caps my FPS in mw2 for whatever reason. (in my config)

I'm assuming devsaves are binded.

Are you also doing drawfps_simple to show?

Yes, I have that working, but com_maxfps does not work for me. I don't know if putting it on a specific line in the config would explain it or not, but I cannot manage to uncap it to go to 250 or even if I wanted to play at 125.

You can lock fps by nvidia control panel.
