For this category, which coins are we collecting? The regular yellow ones or the purples one?
@Snayp the purple coins are just like stars for singleplayer, but in multiplayer, that's a different story, it's definitely built for multiplayer
ah so they meant the regular yellow coins, not the big coins? what's the point of calling the category "coin runners" like the gamemode in 2.0 then xd
@Snayp Idk but I think it doesn't matter which gamemode you're in, cuz the yellow coins remain the same no matter what
@RockieSpeedruns Coin runners is the new gamemode that 2.0 update introduced, and it has purple coins and big star coins, those should be the objective of the coin runners speedrun, unless it's renamed to Collect coins just like the 1.7 category.
@Snayp I know how the coin runners gamemode works, I've played with many streamers lately (and won) but the purple coins should be for multiplayer & the number of coins would need to increase if the category were to happen. Btw, if we're just gonna collect the yellow coins, then the category should be renamed to Collect Coins (like you said) from the 1.7 version
Recently New Super Mario Bros. Versus were updated to the version 2.0 and the 1.7 is no longer playable, it means the world record and runs will remain FOREVER! (unless you have played before the 2.0 version). From now on, every run submitted, will have to wait a long time until the leaderboard setu
