Hi there !

I'm thinking about some changes in the SNES rules. It seems that @Boosius beats the WR in the 3 scenes category by taking a diamond and I'm not confortable with that. If we allow that nobody that doesn't have the luck to drop a diamond on level 3 will never beat his time.

I'm not familiar with the SNES run. Is the drop of a diamond really RNG or do a RNG manip exist ?

What you all think about it ?

might seem biased here, but i believe anything in the game should be allowed. the gem isn't too rare if you keep trying for it.

plus my run is slow even with the gem in scene 3

OK ! They are more people that want to allow diamonds so I validate your run and change the rules of the SNES category.

I added that to SNES rules :

• Collecting diamonds is allowed

I added that to game rules (all versions of the game) :

• Videos must have clear and present game audio for the duration of the run.

Your run will be the last that we will validate without sound.

Sounds good to me! The only reason i didn't have sound was because i was playing the game for a few hours at that point. I will use sound in the future. Thank you!
