Greetings. I've already ask for a glitch-less category in the past, but recently, i saw that in the Co-op campaign, there's also the Bromley Skip AND more importantly the Phillipine glitch as well (the one who skip the entire level). According to this, there's surely the Singapour one as well. So, do you think it's possible to create a glitch-less one for the co-op as well ?
Are you sure these skips possible on co-op? I've attempted most of them and they didn't work for me
If you look at the individual level section of fall of the phillipines (co-op) there's someone who does it. For the Bromley skip, the last publication on co-op shows it
Ahhh ok. So the latest co op run fails to utilize an enemy npc to skip fall of Philippines. The IL run does instead. They probably weren't aware you can do that. That's funny.
Also the bromley skip was purely accidental as they were even surprised the dialogue didn't play. Taking really tight lines here usually causes it to skip, wish I knew why.
I'll update the boards tonight and get you guys a separate category.
Thanks a lot for your help ! Also, i would need to know if the bromley skip is count as a glitch, as well as the jump they execute to pass the barrier in the hotel, just after getting the Sten MKII. As far as i know, the Bromley part is a bit odd, it's like a square who activate the dialogue, if you miss the invisible square, it does not activate. From all my pasts tests, taking the stairs where he tell you the follow him, activates the dialogue without fail. Thank you again !
Yeah the bromley thing seems to be exactly that. Jumping off the platform is something you wouldn't normally do.. looks like a bug that got missed by play testers. I would say it's a glitch, because it's unintended. But quite easy to do by mistake. I wouldn't count it as a glitch though in terms of categories.
Also the hotel thing isn't really a glitch. You're just jumping over something.

I did try to jump over the barrier right before you get picked up by Tanaka, but it seems theres an invisible wall there. I was using two players with one controller. Maybe I should test it with someone else though. It could still be possible.
Anyways I added a new category and updated the rules a bit as some of it was not updated. I also added region as a parameter for new submissions. That should have already been included from the start.
