Hello! I was wondering if anybody could possibly add Category Extensions so people could speedrun individual levels (IL). I love IL speedruns and I know many (myself included) would speedrun individual levels, either because they just like a certain level a lot or they only have the time for a single level. You do not have to add these as I'd imagine it'd take a lot of work (I'm not sure how it works on the technical side of things) but I'd heavily appreciate it if you do and I'd be glad to start running ILs.

I'm pretty much the only active mod here, but I'm not a super mod, so I'm not sure I can create new categories. I plan on trying to figure this out so I can do things like this.

I think I found the way to make IL's. What game(s) would you like? I'm not going to blindly add all of them unless there is interest. Thanks!

Well, I'm not super active here anymore either and while my interest has diminished significantly, I think it would be cool for ILs for each Robot Master. Granted, that's a hefty task, but no other Mega Man leaderboard on this website is doing it (for some reason) and it might be cool. More specifically, the Mega Man 2 Wily Stages and all the Mega Man Robot Master (first game) stages would be pretty cool.

Yeah I hear ya. I don't think it will be an issue with creating IL's, but I just messed the board up trying to add categories, so now I am really apprehensive about doing it until I figure things out. I want to provide all the options I can here and will work on it when I can.

Another thing that would be awesome is to have the challenges be speedruns on here too, i have the fastest time for one of the wiley challenges on pc minus the cheaters ahead of me.

That would be pretty rad, but it'd be a lot of work to maintain all of those leaderboards and I have a LOT of runs I'd have to submit.

Hi, I'm new here, but I have been doing the remixes of the stages of some games in the switch version of the game. I never though about one day having them here but if you create the leaderboards, I have some screenshots of the world records across the years for the game (even one that has video replay) so be free to contact me

Ok thank you. I would like to expand this board a bit, but the last time I attempted to do so, I deleted an entire category, so rebuilding it was fun. I will have to consult someone who has experience with this to help me out. Regarding past WR's, screenshots usually do not work on their own. I would need a video replay for verification. I'll try to reach out soon to my person who knows how to build boards so I can expand this. My issue is that I'm currently the only person here that is "active" and my life is pretty hectic, so getting here to verify every couple of weeks is tough, let alone building the board. I'll do what I can to make this small section of SRC better for everyone :)

Hey, don't feel bad over it! It's good that you're still looking into it. You're doing a lot better than a verifier I've seen before. Homie was last seen one year ago. Good luck with the leaderboards if you choose to go through with it.

I mean, while it is true. At the end of the day there are past world records so there's no point on going back to compare to them. Also in the switch version you cannot see other replays. Only your current PB
