Hi all, we just implemented a few minor rules changes and restructured the rules for clarity. Here are the highlights:

1. We no longer consider Twitch Highlights to be adequate video proof. We feel this change is necessary given Twitch's decision several months ago to limit highlights to 100 hours per user. Older highlights will be deleted if this limit is exceeded, so this method of storage is no longer permanent. We will accept runs with Twitch Highlight proof that were submitted before this announcement, but this change will go into effect immediately. For the sake of preservation, we encourage everyone to upload all Twitch Highlights to YouTube or a similar site and edit relevant runs to include the new permanent link (even if those runs were verified long ago).
2. Added a clause requesting that you do not submit milliseconds in your runs. While we want to keep milliseconds enabled in order to break ties, we also want all ms on the leaderboard to be entirely accurate. Currently, nearly all submitted runs we see include inaccurate milliseconds that merely copy the decimals of the timer used (human reaction time is not nearly good enough for this). While we will not reject your run for including ms, including it will require us to spend time to edit your run to remove it, which makes verifying runs in this extremely popular game just that much slower. (We have only just begun the long process of removing inaccurate ms from existing runs. We expect this will take a good while to finish.)
3. Finally, a reminder that all video proof now requires you to show the system home menu. We announced this a month back, but we've been lenient in accepting runs that don't do so. We will now stop sending reminder messages and instead start rejecting runs that do not comply with this that were submitted after this announcement.

Hey Everyone

I will keep this short and sweet. The leaderboards are now split by console (switch / switch 2). All runs done on the nintendo switch 2 require proof until the leaderboards get more fleshed out, and all runs that require proof, regardless of which system you are playing on, MUST show the home screen of the system

There will be a grace period here where we will try to remind people, but after a couple of weeks RUNS WILL BE REJECTED IF THEY DO NOT SHOW THE CONSOLE'S HOME SCREEN
