This game requires runs to be verified, and a moderator has rejected this run. Reason: Cup runs must be done on N64

Why isn't there a Switch section for this? Who owns an N64 still? (except limited people)

Quite a lot of people still have their N64s, just because it’s from 1996 doesn’t been every one has been wiped out randomly

Switch is available as a category for full game runs. Cup runs were added at some point mostly to track WR history, but they end up being a very incomplete leaderboard because people don't tend to submit their cup times that they achieved within their full game runs. It requires more moderation work to track down times that were done within full game runs, so we chose to just leave it as N64.

You're free to play cup runs on your own and track them if you'd like, but if you would like to submit Switch runs, I would recommend playing through all cups. Alternatively, for shorter runs, Switch is allowed for time trials at https://mariokart64.com

Yes people do still have N64s, I could pick one up of Ebay right now for £70 and Mario Kart 64 for about £25

But why would I pay nearly £100 for a console, then pay our for a conversion kit so I can plug to my computer, to be able to record the game, which would total to about £150, when I have Mario Kart 64, on Switch, with an N64 Controller.

All that needs to be added is cup runs for Mario Kart 64 with a Switch section.

So if you want to do cup runs and shorter runs, you have to go to another site for full access, and this site you say only has Time Trials for Switch version.

Why not add Cup runs and Time Trials here? For N64, Switch and Switch 2, unless Switch players aren't important and it's main focus is only N64 for free 100% on this site and Switch get's only 1 option of "You can only play through the full game in 1 run"
