I like the idea of this category because there is a lot of luck involved (spawning near dead bushes, having good drop rates), but it also won't be one of those categories where the top 50 runs are all under a second.

Resetting for rng is the worst part of speedruning. Also how do you like the fact that there is luck involved? Its not a terrible idea, but I don't think that any obtain item catex is very good. also the fastest rout would just be getting lucky and finding 3 gold axes which involves no skill. Idk tho if u will enjoy running that then hav fun. If other enjoy it, it could be a catex.

that would be so easy, just spawn in at any spruce village and you can get wood so easily. bad catex

just spawn in a taiga village and get 16 wood logs in a chest

is not even 16, for 64 sticks is 32 of wood, 8 logs yeah spawn in a village with a chess with the logs and craft 2 things fast, actualy the same than minerals but with the craft without structures, well probably the faster is after 3 of wood logs crafting an axe for other 8 instead of other 5 of hand if you are fast enough, idk, and without tools basicaly that not for sure; in case of not using the tool there is nothing more than waiting in a tree and crafting that fast
