i want to get into speedrunning and i wanted to know if the speedrunigt timer would make a run count as modded

if you mean using a mod that gives you a timer inside the game, that's probably not allowed but you can use any timer external to the game

well in the resources tab it has SpeedRunIGT mod so i thought it would be allowed sense they have it in resources

yes, speedrunIGT is a official mod so do not be scared to use it

I know it's a mood it's just can I use fabric to run it or not btw I'm talking about 1.16+

SpeedrunIGT requires Fabric loader. If you use Fabric don't install the Fabric API as that'll invalidate your run.
