Hello. Today marks one year since I submitted 4 IL times, and I wanted to reach out to see if we could get these verified. Thanks!

They have not been verified because you did not follow the timing rules. My options were A. reject the runs, or B. run timing tests to see if there's any notable differences in timings.

Because of personal reasons, I had to sudenly move last summer, and my copy of the game has been in a storage locker out of my reach ever since. I'm planning on running tests when I have access to the game again, and make a decision then.

I've made comparisons between when the WRs and I started Star-Crossed Skyway, Rocket Road, and Kamek's Carpet Ride. These definitely aren't perfect, but I think they are close enough.

There might also be differences between Physical and Digital, when looking at a Quo vs Goku comparison in Rocket Road. I'm not sure which version Goku used though, so it's hard to say for sure. The difference between my submitted runs seems comparable to the potential version differences. Both have a difference within a second, which compared to the roughly half minute improvements on each WR (FWR for Rocket Road) is very marginal.

I understand if these 3 runs must be rejected, and would take knowing that over them continuing to sit in Pending limbo. At the very least though, can my Bowser's Peculiar Peak run be looked at again? That run started the same way as the current WR. Both start by pressing "Start Game" (which is not the "Play" selection mentioned in the rules).

After looking at the comparisons and getting input from other mods, I think it's best if the old timing method remains the only one. I'll go ahead and verify the BPP run since that one does follow the timing rules, and reject the rest.
