i keep doing it perfectly but keep losing..i see no objects tossed my way but i still lose

is this game rng or is there a way to beat it consistantly?

Honestly, what your issue probably is is a timing thing where you're too early. you're supposed to do move the analog stick on the notes when the notes pulse. You should be able to beat it every single time.

thats what ive been doing ..trying to time it to when the notes pulse..from what i read on a wiki its possible for it to be rng

I just realized I should have asked a long time ago if you are using N64 or Switch. Switch mario bandstand has an audio de sync issue where the sound doesn't line up with the visual making it incredibly annoying and inconsistent!
