Just noticed something about the rules in the "Worst Ending Deluxe" category. If I understand it correctly, the purpose of this category is to be kind of a "100%" or "High%" route. And that's why you have to get the contract from the publisher and give it to the Green Tentacle.
However, the Green Tentacle also kills you if you give it the cassette tape after you've recorded the contents of the record on it. So, my question is: would this be allowed in this category? It'd be a lot faster, but I was wondering whether it would defeat the purpose of the category.
Haha, I had no clue... That does defeat the purpose of the category. I'll have to think about what to do with this.
Hmmm... now that you don't have to wait for the contract, this could be an interesting category in the original game too. I don't think you've got time to do everything before Dr. Fred plays the arcade, particularly if you fix the wires before picking up the glowing key.
So it sounds like routing this one would be interesting. Will have to check that.
In this game, what happens when you give the contract for the meteor to the Green Tentacle? Can you get it back from the kid's grave? Or is it gone because the Green Tentacle took it? If you can get it, this could also be another option. Sounds slower, but I don't know much about this game, so...
