We could add a board for each level in the game. What you think about it?

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm not sure it's relevant to add ILs in a game like Maldita, the game isn't really designed for it in my opinion...

Its very simple. Since we already use a real timer instead of the IGT for the regular speedruns, we could start the timer on each chapter of the game. And finish when beating the last boss of the chapter. Or we could use the IL's as a comparative for the best segments.

I understand, but the issue is that there's no legit way to start a chapter in this game... The only way is to use Cheat Engine, but it's not allowed to do runs with it.

I guess the best way to do IL's in Maldita is to run the game with the autosplitter and look at your gold splits ?
