I know the community is literally 4 people but i think All bosses instead of No Going Back would make for a good 3rd category instead of what is effectively a meme category. Or have both thatd be cool too. Rules would be pretty simple I would imagine. If it gives an achievement its a boss, maybe force semi perfect or xinammon at the least? That way the run ends with a boss and not an anticlimax. I just think it'd be neat in a game where we go out of our way to skip at least 5 bosses in any category just from not having the resources or not wanting to invest the time to get the resources. Like in Perfect Ritual we get just enough ammo to finish the game. Add another 35 bosses and we might have to pick up Hellsword or the magnum. Maybe even force us to get the upgraded pistol from the shopkeeper
There are 21 not counting ending bosses but like I said I think not including a final boss to the run would be a disservice to the category so i think True Xin-Amon at a minimum if not Perfect Ritual should be required but other than that rules seem pretty easy. After doing a No Going Back run yesterday we really dont need that category its 60% waiting and it sucks
I think Maximum Bosses would be a better one, since then you don't have to repeatedly play the game to get the ending bosses for every ending. Fight/Defeat as many bosses as possible on the Perfect Ritual route(since 2 bosses is the max you fight in the endgame, and you'd already have all the stuff for Perfect Ritual this way). Leave which variant of Perfect Ritual you get open, so that marathon folks can donate for the slightly slower golden ending.
The only downside from a viewing perspective is that you'd be fighting NPCs that aren't hostile unless you start beating them up, which is a bit rude. That said, a 'Polite, All Apartments' route might be awkward to pin down, category wise.
