Currently, to submit a speedrun in the jungle clear category, you have to provide proof of the champion’s jungle pick rate. I find this redundant and don’t see how it can be used as proof for anything.
It has already happened multiple times that I submitted a run, and after several days it got rejected because I didn’t include a screenshot from a public website, one that is also accessible to the category moderators.
Maybe I’m overlooking something that makes this requirement meaningful, but with my current understanding, I don’t see any purpose behind it.
basically, the jungle clears were intended originally to be an educational category. this means that there's no flash/ghost/tp allowed, and meta junglers should bring normal runes instead of speedrunning runes (non-meta can bring any rune). the method to determine meta/non-meta is an arbitrary 0.5% PR. hence it's necessary to show pickrate in jg. especially on meta junglers, the entire rune page pick rate has to be shown on u.gg as well, and your runes taken need to be based on that.
it is possible for us to look on u.gg of course, but it is far easier if the runners just include 1 screenshots in their submission, or a second in their video of the pickrate in u.gg.
That is actually good to know. I didn’t know that the category was meant to be educational. Maybe this information could somehow be shared via the category news or rules. After all, I still believe that a speedrun category should also be treated that way. I don’t think that most players are aware that this is supposed to be educational, especially because the other categories aren’t.
That makes sense, I was not aware of it either. Speedruns are not typically for education and I would say nobody looks up a speedrun for a clear. A Raptor start is usually worse in a real game, even though it is faster.
- Locke's Stacks category was added. The goal is to get 20 stacks, which is a 10% execute range.
- The theme was updated to match the Pandemonium season.
It is a bit too early to talk about League Classic, but we are for sure going t
