some tech n shit idk

1. tab freezing: while playing as soft enjoyer, click and hold the ‘minimise tab’ button before you reach the speed cap. hold it down as long as you like (the relevant section holds for 50 seconds) to build up speed past the speed cap. (used in old world records, current strat uses speed gate duping)

2. speed gate duping: stand incredibly close to a speed gate, turn on shift lock, and repeatedly turn so your arm touches the gate. (current we does this 7 times in relevant section)

3. delayed bash bounce: while mid-air, press R to bash and release it before you hit the ground. press R again to bounce forward. You cannot DBB if you have left the ground after bashing.

4. peelout pre-charge: while wearing the shoes that make you run fast, press E on a level, walk out of distance of the button, and press go. while in the loading screen, spam e to charge a peelout. once this is charged, you can swap powerups and keep the charge. (Used in IL NG+ runs)
5. wall running: dive right next to a wall and angled slightly into it. idk where you could use this

i’ll update this later maybe idk
