Batarang Launch Glitch

As Robin (any character that can't glide or roll I think) jumping slightly before a batarang returns to you LAUNCHES you in the air.

How to clip in LB2 3DS in various ways (Not tested on other versions)

Note: all of these were found on the 3DS version, I have not tested them on other versions. But if you’re on another version, you should still try to do these to see if they work.

The main strategy to do all of these clips is to abuse the collision and/or knockback against thin walls or objects, usually with the help of your sidekick or an enemy.

Also make sure to do this with all of your hearts, as having less will kill your sidekick in fewer hits, and have invincibility turned off as well, as that disables the knockback.

Punch Clipping: Get yourself and your sidekick to a thin wall/object. Try your best to punch 3 times them facing as straight forward as you can.

If your sidekick doesn’t clip through. Realign both of your characters and keep on trying until your sidekick clips through, then switch to your sidekick.

Switch Clipping: Mostly the same as Punch Clipping and can be used as an alternative for it. When you and your sidekick are inside of eachother. Switching your character while in the air will move the other character somewhere to give both of them space.

But this can sometimes clip you through walls and objects. This should in theory be faster than Punch Clipping if landed on the first try, because switching your character is faster than punching your sidekick 3 times.

Superman Clipping: This is the easiest and most powerful clipping method, getting you clipped further than any other method. Find any object or wall close to another object/wall, and fly at it.

The flying animation will send you backwards. And you can just turn around and fly again wherever you wanted to clip through. This does not work with all flying characters though. They need to have the same flying animation as Superman.

(If a way to do this using just the corner of a wall is found, the clip would be even better.)

Floor Clipping: Most spots of bounds have no collision at all. Clip through a wall that sends you out of bounds, and you can go underneath the floor. I reccomend using Batman or anyone else who can glide to do this.

If you get punch your sidekick through a wall, but aren’t quite far in enough to walk through, you can use your other character to face the wall, and then walk into them with your other character to give yourself a slight boost.

For example, this is used in the first two rooms of Gotham Theatre, but isn’t useful anywhere else, since there aren’t really any other rooms that require you to go under the ground to get to the next room.

Ceiling Clipping: This only involves one character. Find an object under a ceiling that you can stand on top of. And if you fit inbetween the object and the ceiling perfectly, you can just jump through the ceiling.

For example, you can skip the first robot fight in Gotham Metro doing this ontop of the machine where the lever is. But it’s a little too high to get ontop of with just one jump, so this is currently freeplay only, since you’ll need a double jump and then a glide/fly to get past the robot.

Enemy Clipping: Enemies have different hitboxes than you and your sidekick. They seem to take priority over the characters you control, and as a result, will automatically push you somewhere to give you and the enemy space.

You can use this to clip through walls. For example, In story mode, you can get to the room after the first robot fight in Gotham Metro, and lure the enemies to you, and use Superman to freeze them, and then, you can use them to clip inside of the train.

How to get studs Fast! (Mobile)

In Lego Batman 2, the NDS, 3DS, and PS Vita versions all have stud multipliers. These are crucial for getting 100%, as it makes collecting studs way faster. However, the Mobile version does not have these multipliers (as it encourages in app purchases). To counter this, you can replay a Bonus Mission multiple times to get all the studs needed at a fairly fast pace (around 20 minutes). This saves an INSANE amount of time for, say, the 100% Mobile run.

Note: It takes 6 rounds to get all the studs necessary, definitely not 15 rounds as the video says. 

I am unsure if this trick saves time on the other versions of this game.
