Mouse / Menu anticipation & positioning

While playing the game, during animations and sequences, your mouse's position will disappear. You can guesstimate it's position during these sequences to pre-position the mouse on your next step so that you can fire off a chain of steps fairly rapidly, like transitioning through a door or opening the side menus.

Another thing to take in mind is that the interaction menu will open near your mouse position and render towards the 5-o-clock position, sometimes 6-o-clock. Rapidly tapping the mouse between sequences will effectively reposition the menu.

Lastly, you can anticipate a menu by watching the NPC animations. Their animations will pause briefly before one appears. This is a great time to slow your roll on rapid clicking to not accidentally misclick or repeatedly open the menu.

Run Killers / Imperfections

Here's a list of absolute run killers I've found. Be aware of them as they will absolutely yank seconds out of your run.

**I've found these to be completely RNG based, they will not happen all the time, but can quickly kill your run in the first 30 seconds because you are running around the populated area of the game.**

- Aspirant wants to trade with you.
- Aspirant wants to fight you.
- You turn down a hall and a guard wants to fight you.
- Vorg? Vorq? The little dudes. They'll enter the red hallway and throw a corpse into the waters. I've had this doubled up with an Aspirant before.
- Water droplet sound inside the red hall. Its random, but even if you get a perfect NPC-less run through the hallways, this can still block you from exiting the room until it loads and plays the water droplet sound.***

*** This only is an issue when running off an ADF.

WinAUE vs DOSBOX

WinAUE will run the game generally slower out the box with just A500 default settings, with up to 1-2 minutes just to boot the game, and animations run a lot slower.You can avoid this by setting the CPU to "Fastest Possible".

There is an improved setup to match 14Mhz speeds of the A1200 by utilizing Workbench 3.1 + WHDLoad.
This allows you build a virtual hard drive on the Amiga in order to install the game directly, instead of relying on the emulator to read the ADF file like a floppy disk.

The DOSBOX via Steam version of the game has a much smaller pixel density mixed with 15000x default cycles, (15GHz vs Amiga's 14Mhz) causing the framerate to blast through animations in a millisecond.
Altering the installation to match Amiga speeds on WinAUE requires reducing the cycles to 1500 to 3000, roughly.

Due to the imbalance of speeds between WinAUE and DOSBOX, however, they should be separate categories.
