Anyone there? I need help :c

I generally don't write on forums, it's like returning to the ruins of an ancient civilization asking what happened. The ruins do not speak for themselves and no one is going to answer you. In that case, nothing is lost by trying, I wanted to know if someone here could explain to me how I can train each weapon in the game and what is the best build for a character depending on the weapon in which they want to specialize. Building a character for Kempo is not the same as building a character for using a Haker. In case this forum isn't deader than Okran, I appreciate the help.

Hi, I know this is kinda late, but perhaps this will bring you back to the game) There isn't really a particular way to build your character that is optimised for certain types of weapons. Some minor points is that the more weapon is focused on blunt damage the more important strenght becomes, whilst for cutting damage dexterity is more important. However it is better to level up both. If you are looking for ways to level these skills up I'll give three categories.

Very basic and balanced ways (some would say the way the game is intended to be played):

  • Weapons are best trained by simply fighting using the weapon (generally the attack skill is a lot more important for effective combat, but the skill will make your character flashier)
  • Dexterity can be pretty effectively leveled up using small wepons like wakizasi or by using the crossbow (reloading grants dexterity xp). It doesn't matter what level of weapon you are using, so I'd recommend to use the lowest to make your opponents last longer (if you are a confident player, otherwise kill every enemy at sight with the best weapon)
  • Strength is best trained by fighting with heavy weapons, being heavily armoured, being overweight
  • For fighting I would recommend starting with hungry bandits -> Fogmen -> Cannibals or shrieking bandits -> Southern Hive

The sort of op approaches (I know more effective approaches, but they are very diffivult to set up):

  • Weapons are trained based on your enemy level. Visit Mourn and use any crossbow to knock out the white gorillo by hiding behind the rubble in its lab. The AI is pretty dumb so it should be easy. Make sure NOT TO LOOT IT! It will die if you loot it and the method will be wasted. Now heal it up, hold right click on it, and wait for it to get up. Once it wakes up click pick up, and miraculously your character will pick up a well awake animal. Now just put it in one of the beds on the third (2nd) floor and start beating it with the worst weapon of the type you can find. If you take some random body, overweight yourself and wear heavy armor, you will minimise the damage and gain all the necessary skills. It will take about one-two in-game days to get strong enough to defeat most enemies (with only Boss-like exceptions). If you train three or four weapon categories and martial arts, you should also have amazing dexterity and strength stats as well as attack.

The mods way (I recommend it if you are trying to make an army and enjoy a large epic battle): Install a mod like advanced training dummies and just use training dummies to level up, pretty good if you seek new experience from the game and want large scale training of multiple characters.

*Please note: I do not recommend using the op or mods method if you are not very experienced, as it will ruin your experience of the game. The game is meant to be struggled through, so by using these method you will bypass the fun of the game.
