Hey, I'm looking to get started trying to run some of these childhood favorites. I was wondering if anyone had any good methods of learning or breaking down routes. Also what the minimum requirements to record runs would be. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
hey, i'd highly recommend joining the jak discord which is linked on all the games pages. we have a bunch of resources pinned in each channel and a lot of people who can help steer you to what you're looking for. as for minimum requirements for recording we don't really have any, but how you record would depend on which version of the games you plan to run
I have a ps2 but no copy of the game that works any longer. I recently picked it up the ps4 version of the game. I assume it would just be a capture card deal. As far as the discord I tried to join it but was met with a broken link. It may be a problem on my end and will give it another go. Thanks.
After the recent Twitch changes to VOD storage that you've surely heard about, we've decided to no longer accept Twitch VODs for submissions to the Jak boards. From now on, only YouTube links will be accepted for video proof in a run submission, and we would encourage you to export any previous runs
