My own strat. Been having less frustration with this (take heed of the wording here) than Anso's, so sharing. I take my time between reloads because not concentrating ruins it. 10 attempts in a row + timed.
@AnsoWizard Well, the point of the strat is to hit the thing while its on the ground to avoid clipping, but I'm not sure if it always works. But maybe a tighter frame window from that setup makes the air-hitbox less full of holes, who knows.
Something isn't right with @wogyt's Gradius skip. It shouldn't be possible to do what he's doing unless he's using a script to consistently send 1 frame enter presses, which don't trigger the chat menu.
I'm not accusing you of cheating, but something's off. If I set up autohotkey to:
key::
send {enter}
return
then the menu doesn't trigger, but doing it like that wouldn't be legitimate.
Correct way to rebind using autohotkey:
key::key
I'm referring to @wogyt's Gradius skip from https://www.speedrun.com/iwbtboshy/forums/6znsc
u should pausebuffer every 1-2 frames to stun chat, it will not going to open while u pausebuffering (Of course AnsoWizard checked this too, works exactly like me)
Something amusing about the idea of "stunning chat". I gave up on testing that before, cause too much pause buffering ruins my wrist. I guess the point is not to "unchain" pause buffers, but it's not like you can't do 0-1 frames or the skips would be random. 3 frames seems to work, too. It appears red ball skip (subframe and bullet align dependent? aka inconsistent) + gradius + megaman + missingno are all possible following your instructions. (Congrats on rage PB. You're nuts, dude.)
amazing rage mode biollante kill
Missingno Recover + Lazor kill without pausebuffer
@AnsoWizard Hey, do you have any idea why this is working for me?
Not sure if it's just luck or the Kirby RNG just works in mysterious ways. Will test this some more.

Edit: guess this answers my question. The bullshit thing is, the arm was just 1 frame away from not killing me.

Hello, runners!
Today, we are excited to present the result of nearly 8 months of work.
