Hi! I am planning to do a TAS of this game but I'm stunted by the fact that I never had a clue how to create custom setups.
Could anybody help me set up a car to run a 10 lap race?

Hey ! I use the baseline setup of the Penske (yellow car) as a basis, just balancing the wings to reduce oversteer. Then adjust the gears to hit ~12k rpm at top speed. Certainly, there are other improvements to find but that's as far as I've experimented.
For 10 laps, you can go full attack with turbo at 9 and only 15 gallons of fuel. Without traffic you can do ~39s per lap.
If you go a lap or more down, your run will have 1 minute added onto it for every lap you go down. This is to make competition fairer to people who finish all laps and to eliminate intentionally going a lap down. (Speedruns based more on speed and less on rng)
