Hello, here's a guide for installing Cutsceneless Mod for SteamPipe build of our favorite game (HL2). SteamPipe builds start with version 5288, which you can download with this guide. It is worth mentioning right away that to do this you have to download the game again or duplicate the folder of it, because one of the steps breaks original maps of HL2
1.Download GCFScape tool. It can open the ".vpk" files. On installation, click on "Associate with .vpk files", if it doesn't checked.
- Open the folder of with any SteamPipe build of the game. For example it will Steam Legacy. In "hl2" folder open "hl2_pak_dir" file with GCFScape. Utility will open this file, like 7zip will open the archive. Next, drop the files from that file to "hl2" folder

Delete "hl2_pak_000" and "hl2_pak_dir" files

Install Cutsceneless Mod. Download it and drop to hl2 folder. And don't forget to delete ".lmp" files from "map" folder click on me to download

Create "start" save. Load first map with command "map d1_trainstaion_01" and wait until the end of cutscene with G-Man. Before end of cutscene, pause the game and type "save start" in console
