Game rules

The run will be considered invalid if:

• the submitted footage contains no evidence that the attempt was started from the main menu/pause menu.

Applies to the Top 10 runs:

• the run must begin on a Wednesday (in-game), which should be shown in the submitted footage (main menu start/pause menu before the attempt/phone menu during the attempt).

Category rules

100%

• Submitted runs must include the stats screen with "Game Progress 100%" shown at the end of the video or/and the "100% Game Completion" pop-out message.

All Seagulls

• Submitted runs must either include the subtitle for killing all seagulls ("All seagulls killed. LC is a quieter place.") or stats screen with "Seagulls Killed 50" shown at the end of the video.

21.06.2026 Changes

Rules listed below are now applied to the top 10 runs:

• The maximum allowed framerate is 120 FPS;
• An FPS monitor must be clearly visible at all times during the submitted video;
• The run must begin on a Wednesday (in-game).

Changes will only affect newly submitted runs and are done to be in line with the main game rules.

Dear Tonies, it is with sorrow that we announce that, as of September 18, level leaderboards have been deleted from the game. The reasoning being that the in-game time that is displayed in the menu at the end of missions is flawed (as it is heavily dependent on FPS) and therefore not an accurate representation of anyone’s position on the leaderboard. Other mods and I had a discussion about different timing methods and we decided that real time (RTA) isn’t fair either because of the disparity in loading times between the Complete Edition (once again the culprit) and older versions of the game. The only way that these could be accurate is with loads removed, which is impossible to do in runs that already exist without human error and, in all honesty, a lot of work which neither me nor anyone is willing to put into these. The existing runs have been archived in a Google document and any level runs that were submitted in the past few days will be rejected.
