Title says most of it. i was looking to try and install the 1.3.1 speedrun mod and it wouldn't work in the newest version, obviously. so i downgraded to the version i found in a different forum and the game wouldn't launch with the speedrun mod installed. and when i tried running it without it crashed and then loaded the steam version. i removed the files from the steam version and the game crashed again and then somehow steam automatically updated the game and launched the new version? i have no idea what's going on and any help would be greatly appreciated!

same problem I even tried uninstalling granny and it still wants to open current version asking me to install

Ok so I just found a fix I moved all the files from the downgraded version to the one in steam then deleted the extras that should work

Got the mod working on the latest version of the game, but the text is black on a black UI, which is quite annoying

@Voltayn just use the prehalloween ver of the game, you did not have to do allat 😭😭

I did what @NatTSV Said, first I downloaded the depot, then I replaced that files for all of the OG steam Granny ones, now the game doesn't even opens, what did I did wrong?
