Yeah, @BlastMagic 's iPad got the same problem with the most recent iOS update. It seems to be a commonly reported issue even outside GOISE. The most fundamental fix would be a new iOS update but who knows when that'll happen.

For now, you can use turbowarp with a target FPS greater than 30 (Advanced -­> 60 FPS (Custom FPS) -> Click to use a framerate other than 30 or 60). 31.5 should probably work but do a few test runs to make sure the outcome is around 30 FPS. Another option is the FPS booster https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1039675303 with a similar process. These fixes are not perfect so we're hoping the issue is temporary, but they should go unnoticed for almost everyone.
