As we all know, the pretty big DLC of Goat Simulator released last week. With how big this game is, and totally standalone compared to the main game, we decided in the discord that rather than messing these leaderboards up big time, it's better to make completely new boards.

Welcome to the Goat Simulator 3 leaderboard. You might read this newspost because it's the first few weeks of Goat Simulator 3. I want to use this post as a guide on what the first weeks will entail.

The game releases today, and first of all, I want to give people the chance to enjoy this goofy game on their own pace, without any pressure from "day 1 WR let's goooooooo". In the meantime, since Goat isn't a standard game (maybe, maybe not??), we'll use these first few days/weeks/months to garner an idea of what (valid/interesting) speedruns are possible. For reference, in Goat Simulator 1, we got categories as All Trophies (both the base game, as well with all DLC on it), all Quests (except 1, but minor detail), all pranks, all stretch goals, etc.. These are not arbitrary, as they do complete a big thing in the map they are on. For the mobile game, trophies and quests also stay prevalent.

Goat Simulator 3 is, as of now, unknown territory, so that's where we all get to play our part. Feel free to join the Discord right here to join in on the conversation. Don't be scared by my desire for non-arbitrariness, every good idea stems from a lesser idea ;)

I am not going to put a stamp on when the leaderboards formally open, but it'll become a minimum of 2 weeks from launch (December 1st). I'd like to hear from all of you. And to fill up some moderator positions, as I'm not going to do all by my lonesome.
